Most people in Drumheller know me as “the Munchie Machine guy” The owner/operator of the big yellow food truck. But my work in the valley has always gone beyond one project.
I am an entrepreneur, non-profit founder, husband, and father who has built ventures designed to uplift people and strengthen our communities. I’m action oriented. My wife and I built a non-profit from the ground up, Our Animal Food Bank has delivered over 4,000,000 meals to pets in need across Western Canada.
I’ve brought a new venture to the area called Finance It Fast to help provide local businesses access to funding they need to buy equipment, expand operations, and create jobs. One of my favorite passion projects is ThingsToDoInDrumheller.ca where I’m investing time and resources into showcasing the best our valley has to offer, from local attractions to hidden gems, so residents and visitors alike can discover more reasons to stay, spend, and support local.
I’m running for town council because I believe Drumheller is at its best when the needs and wants of the residents who call this home, and given the weight and priority they deserve. While finding a balance with supporting tourism, we also need to ensure that Drumheller can thrive in the offseason – that our kids don’t need to move away for work. I know what it takes to build projects from the ground up, balance competing needs, and make ideas work in the real world. More importantly I know the importance of listening to you, hearing you, and representing you at the Council table. On council, my focus will be listening to you, and providing transparency, practical solutions, and ensuring decisions are made with families, businesses, and the future of our valley at heart. I’d be honoured to earn your support.
